INSTRUCTOR:
LAURA WHITTEMORE

LOCATION:
Sauvie Island

Fall is a beautiful time of year on Sauvie Island, north of Portland on Hwy 30. Sandhill cranes are arriving, birds of prey are hunting, waterfowl are starting to arrive. We’ll check out a few spots on the island, like Raccoon Point and Rentenaar Road, and see what we can find.

A parking pass is required, and you can purchase one at the island’s store the morning of our trip. We can also carpool around the island and leave some cars in a public lot where a pass is not required.

Dress for weather and bring binoculars (or let us know if you want to borrow binoculars). Bring snacks, lunch, water, whatever will keep you happy for the morning.

TUITION: $35 - $55 SLIDING SCALE (plus processing fees)

SUPPORT NATURE CONNECTION: Please consider making an additional donation to help TreeSong, a 501(c)(3) non-profit. Anything helps and we thank you in advance!

"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has." — Margaret Mead

PROCESSING FEES ARE ONLY APPLIED TO TUITION AMOUNTS, NEVER DONATIONS.
