LAURA WHITTEMORE

Mature Pacific Northwest forests host birds that are uniquely adapted to live in, on, and among trees. They’re cryptically colored, have tree-clinging feet, use specialized feeding techniques, and more. Attend this class to learn how and where to find these birds, which layers of the forest each type favors, and how to zero in on them in low-light forests by knowing their voices.
